At the start of the season, we had 5 people who were on the beginner team. Lucas and Wilson were the builders, Kiarra, Olivia, and Stacy wrote in the engineer notebook, Stacey was the loader and everybody else drove. Our first robot of the season was the hero bot/huey, but with a modified claw, that was the robot we brought to our 1st competition. We were 28th out of 40 teams in teamwork, and we don't want to talk about skills😖. Even though we sold, we learned a lesson. We really need a better robot🥲. After our first competition, we made a completely new robot that was way better, we were 16th  in teamwork and was 6th in skills, but we still didn't get to states😭. Finally after our 2nd competition we practiced a ton, when we went to our 3rd competition, we were 5th in teamwork because we only sold two times and during finals we got 186 points!! We were 4th in skills, so we made it to state🎉!! Except for during states, we completely sold, at least in teamwork. We were 6th in skills, so we're not going to world. At least we learned what it feels like to go to state. so in summary this year of vex IQ , was pretty good😊!!
